Confirm the order before the parcel moves

In cash on delivery, an unconfirmed order is a parcel you pay to send twice. CreaScale confirms every order on WhatsApp, in the buyer's own language, the moment it is placed.

Why COD is different: with a prepaid order, a missed confirmation costs you a support ticket. With cash on delivery, it costs you the outbound shipping, the return shipping, and the stock sitting in a van. The confirmation is not a courtesy — it is the last checkpoint before you spend money on a delivery. Free plan: 300 confirmations a month, no card.

What an unconfirmed COD order actually costs

A prepaid order that goes quiet is a refund. A cash-on-delivery order that goes quiet is a physical object moving across a country at your expense, toward someone who may not have meant to order it, may have given the wrong address, or may simply not be home.

You pay for that trip whether or not it ends in a sale. You pay again for the return leg. And the item comes back weeks later, sometimes unsellable. That is why COD sellers staff call centres: the call is not customer service, it is loss prevention.

The confirmation message does the same job as the call, at the moment the order is placed rather than the next working morning, in the buyer's own language, and without a person per hundred orders.

Why WhatsApp and not a call or an SMS

A call reaches perhaps half the numbers, needs staff who share the buyer's language and working hours, and leaves no written trace of the address the buyer actually confirmed.

An SMS lands in the same inbox as every promotional message the buyer has learned to ignore, and offers no way to reply that anyone reads.

WhatsApp is already the buyer's default messenger across the Maghreb, the Gulf, South and Southeast Asia and much of Latin America — the same map as cash on delivery. The confirmation arrives where they already are, it is written, and their reply opens a 24-hour window in which you can settle an address question at no messaging cost.

What the buyer receives

An approved template carrying the facts of their order — the order reference, the item, the total, the delivery address — in their language, from your business number, with your name on it. Not a marketing message: Meta classifies this as a utility message, because the buyer's own purchase is what justifies it.

If they reply, the conversation is yours. Inside the 24-hour window that reply opens, you can correct an address or answer a question in plain text, free of Meta's per-message charge.

If the order was a mistake, you learn it now — before a courier is paid to find out for you.

Set up in an afternoon, not a quarter

Connect your WhatsApp Business number, write the confirmation text once, and CreaScale submits it to Meta for template approval on your behalf. Approval typically takes minutes to hours, not weeks. Then connect the source of your orders — a Shopify store, or a Google Sheet if that is where your orders live, which for many COD sellers it is.

From then on, nothing is manual. Every new order fires the confirmation. Nothing is on by default and the whole automatic pipeline has an off switch, so you can stop it without touching anything else.

The guardrails that keep your number alive

A blocked WhatsApp number ends a COD operation overnight, and Meta's decision is effectively final. CreaScale therefore refuses sends rather than risking them: only approved templates go out; a marketing template without a recorded marketing opt-in is skipped, not sent; a message that would land inside an open 24-hour window is flagged as pointless rather than billed; and a daily cap limits the damage of any single over-broad send.

The distinction that matters most: a customer writing to you once is not consent to market to them. CreaScale keeps those two permissions separate, which is precisely what the accounts that get banned failed to do.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work if my orders are in a spreadsheet, not a store?

Yes. A new row in a connected Google Sheet is treated as a new order and fires the same confirmation. No storefront and no developer required.

Will it improve my confirmation rate?

We will not publish a number we have not measured on your store. What we can state precisely is what changes mechanically: every buyer is contacted within seconds instead of within a working day, in their own language, in writing, on the channel they already use — and their answer arrives before the parcel is dispatched rather than after.

Is 300 free confirmations a month enough for a COD store?

For most sellers starting out, yes — 300 orders a month is well above what the majority of small COD stores handle. When you outgrow it, Starter at $19 a month takes you to 2,500 sends, and the paid plans are also where the shipping and delivery moments live.

Which countries does this cover?

Anywhere WhatsApp operates. Language resolution has explicit handling for the Maghreb and francophone Africa (French), the Gulf and Arabic-script names (Arabic), and the US, UK and English-speaking markets, with your store default as the fallback.

Do I need my own WhatsApp Business Account?

Yes, and that is deliberate. The number is yours, the quality rating is yours, and Meta bills the conversations to you directly at its own rates. CreaScale takes no cut of the messages and no percentage of the orders.
